How do I reset master instance in BlueStacks? ›

If you have created several different instances of BlueStacks 5, you can easily find the one you wish to use by entering its name in the search bar at the top-right corner of the Multi-instance Manager. Batch operations allow you to start, stop or delete as many instances as you like at the same time.

A master instance is the first instance of BlueStacks 5 created for every Android version. To be able to delete a master instance, you must have two or more Android versions installed on your BlueStacks 5. Otherwise, you will see a popup, as shown below.
